appt and Kayden

So I had my appt on monday. The doctor found the heartbeat right away. I was thrilled! It was 165bpm which according to the old wive's tale would mean it's a girl! I guess we'll see if that's right! I go for my ultrasound on June 23rd. I can't wait! I'm so excited to see my baby and find out what it it is!
So yesterday we had some drama going on here. Kayden had an asthma attack. I gave him a breathing treatment and it didn't work at all. So I called the doctor and they wanted him to come in. So they gave him another breathing treatment there and a prescription for some steriods that he has to take for 6 days. Hopefully he doesn't have anymore problems. It's scary when your kid can't breathe right.Even if he thinks he's fine. Before they gave him the breathing treatment they checked some of his stats. His pulse was 155! his oxygen level to his blood was 92, supposed to be 100. And his breaths per minute was 60! After the test, his pulse was 165 from the medicine, his blood level was 95, still not great, but it went up, and his breaths per minute was 32 which went down alot. Not exactly sure how man breaths per minute you're supposed to have but his was cut in half after the treatment so I'm guessing 60 is bad.
He's sleeping still now. i slept with him last night to make sure he was breathing fine. He was breathing alittle heavy when he went to sleep but seemed fine the rest of the night.
I was hoping to get my hair highlighted today but I don't want to take him around the fumes of a hair salon, just in case that would bother him.
We're meeting Jon for lunch at the Olive Garden for my birthday. I can't believe I'm 26! I'm closer to 30 now than 20! Scary! 26 sounds old to me.(Sorry to all you people who think 26 sounds young...:-) Did it sound young when you turned it?)
Tomorrow, as long as Kayden is fine, Jon and I are going up to Erie as my birthday present. We have a hotel room on the bay of Lake Erie. It looks gorgeous on the internet. I hope it's that gorgeous in real life. It was very expensive!!! I'm really looking forward to our time together. I will miss my baby terribly though. I hate being away from him. I'm with him 24/7 practically and it's so strange to be away from him for more than like 2-3 hours. But he'll have fun with his grandparents and probably won't even notice I'm gone. Although last time he sleptover there I guess he woke up in the middle of the night wanting me.So I guess he noticed I was gone then.
