Been a long time...

Sorry blog readers that I haven't written in so long. I guess I didn't know what to write or had the time to just sit down and write without being bothered by children. But here I am now. Kids are watching a movie....for now. We'll see how that goes. It is a beautiful day outside today. We just got home from grocery shopping. I got some great deals. two tubes of toothpaste for free and two toothbrushes for free. Countless things for a dollar or 1.50. I love getting good deals. Jon told me he has deoderant to last him for at least a year and to stop buying it....yet I bought three of them today. I have a whole shelf in my basement dedicated to my good finds and bulk sam's club stuff. i love the new show, extreme couponers. I just don't think I can invest that much time into it. They say it's like a full time job. i've got kids to watch. I can't be cutting coupons and on the computer all the time looking for deals. But it is fun to get the little deals i can. If I had tons of coupons i could get even more but i usually only have one coupon for an item.

This past week has been a house full of SICK! Everyone was sick except for me. Kids have been sick for the longest. There was even an ER trip in there. kayden wouldn't stop throwing up. He threw up for over 6 hrs! i was worried he's get dehydrated. He did once when he was 2 and I'm always afraid of it now. Cory has an ear infection which he is on an antibiotic for and he also has a nasty cough. I keep thinking I hear him wheeze but he went to the dr yesterday and she said no. So now I'm all confused. now I'm always going to wonder if i hear wheezing or not.

I'm hoping to visit my parents next week but my mom said she doesn't want any sick kids...how rude! So they better get better! Coz I'm going! :-)

Every time my kids get sick, I think about never having another kid. I've been itching to another baby here recently, but after this sick house for over a week, I'm rethinking that thought. Jon doesnt' want any more anyways. So....who knows? Kids stress me out so bad when they get sick. I'd rather be sick. I hate the unknown and with kids, you never know what to expect from them when they're sick.....asthma, dehydration, puke everywhere.....gross. I hate being stuck in my house. I feel so out of sorts when they're sick, like life will never be the same. I just have to remember that it all goes back to normal...eventually. And then I'll probably get the itching for another kid back...and Jon will say NO. and I'll beg and plead. :-)

So Jon got a new job. It's all tentative on him passing the background check, which there is no reason that he wouldn't. We're very excited. I was thinking that he might lose his current job at the end of july and that we'd be stuck. But God is good and provided for us. Don't know when he'll start. They say the background check could take up to 6 months!! The usual is 1-6 weeks. So hopefully it'll be quick!!!! We're hoping he gets to start at the end of July because health insurance doesn't start until the beginning of the next month. So if he starts at the beginning of August he won't get benefits till September. That would be bad with this family! He's very excited though. i think he's going to really like this job!
