Hey all! Got back from my Rhode Island trip on Sunday afternoon. It was a great time! Kayden absolutely loved the beach. At first he was extremely timid. Didn't like the sand on his toes. He sat down as soon as we put the chair up. I had to get out the toys to get him to notice that it was ok. It was really cute. But then he didn't want to have anything to do with the water. Finally we just took him out in it. He liked it to some extent. He'd scream when a wave would come and then he'd laugh .It was very cute. I wish we lived near a beach that I could take him to all the time. What fun that would be! And maybe we wouldn't all be pasty white! haha.
So the first day I got there we went to the beach, Tuesday we went to Newport, RI and rode on a boat in the bay, Wednesday we went back to the beach, Thursday we took Courtney to the airport then we went to the Mystic Aquarium in Connecticut, and Friday we made a quick stop to the Mystic shops and then I was on my way to my parents house. It was a great week and so fun to hang out with Val and Courtney whom I hadn't seen in like forever!
I am sad though that who knows when I will be seeing them or my family again. I won't be making the trip out east again until Christmas because of the baby and finances. I'm very sad because I don't know when my parents will be able to come. September, maybe not till October. I'm going to be getting very depressed in September. I seem to be able to last a month and then get really homesick. It's going to be rough. I really really really wish we didn't live so far away from them. That and Jon's seizures are the only two things I would really like to change about life. One will never happen, but maybe someday the other one will. Here's hoping.
Kayden is currently just watching out the window. Not really sure what he's looking for or at, but he's being good. It looks as though it's going to storm here any minute. I've been hearing thunder in background for a while now, but it doesn't appear to be raining here yet. Soon enough I'm sure. I bought Kayden a new pool yesterday and I haven't been able to put it up yet because of the rain. And there's supposed to be a chance of rain for the next couple days so who knows when I'll get it up for him.
Jon and I will be married for 4 years on Thursday! I can not believe that it has been that long ago. And our little man will be 3 on tuesday! He's getting so big. Where does the time go? I'm so anxious for our new little one to come and I think that 4 months is so far away, but I should know better that it will be here before I know it and then I'll be like wow, that was fast!
My house is a mess and I feel very lazy. I don't feel like doing anything! Bad house wife, I know. Maybe someday I'll be a good one. Or perhaps not.
Update on Kayden's letters: he knows all 26 letters and he knows 24 sounds. I haven't quizzed him on numbers yet, but just from him bringing them to me and telling me what they are, I know he knows, 4, 5, and 7. He thinks 3 is an E because he holds it backwards and he thinks 8 is a B. I can understand where he gets that from. He got a number video from his Aunt Kristin and Uncle Paul and Selah and Adden so hopefully that'll help with the number recognition.
Anyways, I think that your eyes are probably getting tired of reading about me now so I will quit! Bye!

Clean the house like a good girl! haha ;) Then by Oct. you will have a beautifully clean house haha. Maybe we'll be able to come out and visit next Easter so we can meet Cory! Hope so! Hopefully Brandon will have a job by then so it will be possible!
