no more tooth...

Kayden got a tooth pulled today. :-( I think that I am more upset about it than him. It's supposed to be a joyous occasion when your kid loses their first tooth. Having it pulled out of them is not joyous. Now you're probably wondering why in the world he got a tooth pulled at 3! Apparently he must've hit his tooth about a year ago resulting in a dead tooth. The dead tooth caused an infection in his gum. The dentist said it's easier to just pull the tooth and solve all the problems. So I let him pull the tooth. Kayden of course screamed and cried. But he's all recovered now. :-) He's acting completely normal. I don't think Mommy is recovered! He won't get that tooth back till he's like 6 or 7 the dentist said. That's sad to me. I'll get over it. He won't remember. So that's good. So that was our day....
