Today Jon is working 1230-930. At around 3 I decided I wasn't just going to sit at home anymore, so I told Kayden to go get his shoes on and that we were leaving. It was very spur of the moment. I figured that Jon would be having his lunch break soon and we would get there in time to spend it with him. Well when we arrived, he wasn't on lunch yet so we went to Kohl's. I found a patriotic tablecloth and an organic market bag(that's what's on the tag) on clearance. Then we met Jon for dinner at Applebee's which is conviently located right next to where he works. :-) We ate a yummy dinner and got some even yummier dessert! Triple Chocolate Meltdown Baby! haha If you haven't tried it, you need to! Then after Jon left us, we went to Walmart and then back to Kohl's to get some storage ottomans that were 50% OFF! They are really nice and I'm very excited to have them! We have been wanting some for a while but they are so expensive! These were $19.99, so I got two! They are black. I wish they were brown. Oh well. Still nice! I already filled one with toys and books!!! I'm sure Kayden will like sitting on them.
Before Jon went to work this morning, we went to Game Stop to buy the new Wipeout game for the Wii. Jon is very excited to try it! I bet he plays it as soon as he gets home tonight. On our way there we passed McDonald's and Kayden goes, "there's Donald's. Scotty works at Donald's. That's so funny Daddy!" haha Uncle Scotty works part time at McDonald's and while we were done visiting them a few weeks ago we went there while Scott was working and Kayden thought it was really cool that Uncle Scotty works there. And apparently funny too! :-)
Well Cory is sitting on my lap and making it really hard to type. Better get going!
wow sounds like you had a busy day! You sound like me going back and forth to Kohls! Did you have a fifteen percent off coupon?? You could have saved even more money! I just got a 20% off one in the mail today, I need to use it to buy some new sneakers... I've never had the triple choc. meltdown, we always get the Maple Butter Blondie...have you had that one? Its sooo good... and Brandon found this "restaurant secrets" cookbook and made them at home this week and they tasted just like the one at Applebees!! Oh, and I like Kayden's new haircut, very handsome- makes him look so old lol :) Is Cory crawling yet?? ttyl!
