I'm at my parents house for the week. How I long to live near them. I love life at my house when my wonderful husband is home but I must admit that I don't like it much when he's at work. It's lonely. I have to no friends to visit. I'd love to live near my parents so while he's at work, I can bother my mother. We could have lunch together and just "hang out" (I could annoy her! haha) My parents would get to see my kids more than just a couple times a year. I hate that part the most. I wasn't as homesick until I had Kayden. I hate that they miss things. Maybe someday I can convince Jon to move.....I'll keep hoping.
Yesterday my Aunt Leslie treated Kayden and I to Chuck E Cheese. Kayden had never been there before and he loved it. He had pizza and a popcicle. He tried cotten candy and didn't like it.(crazy boy!) He played games and went down the FAST slide like a million times! It was a good day for him! Then he went swimming in the evening. He loves the pool! I wish I had one! We'd be in it every day for hours and hours! He also tells me he wants to swim by himself. He doesn't want my help. And thanks for arm floaties and a whole body floating thing (not sure what it's called)he can do it all by himself! He loves to jump in! And he's gone under a few times and didn't even care! I'm glad he's not like his mother who was afraid of the water for a very long time (probably because I had big brothers who liked to dunk me!)
Cory's routine is all messed up. He hasn't gotten any naps on time. At home, he pretty much sleeps at the same time everyday and I work my errands around his nap time. He's not used to having his routine messed with. I'm sure he'll adjust.
Well I must get going. :)
