boys check-ups

The boys went to the dr. today for their check-ups. Kayden totally flipped out! It was not a pretty sight. And Cory was grumpy because we woke him up from his nap. It must've been really loud outside our room. Good thing Jon was there with me or I might have lost my mind.
Kayden is 43 pounds and 44 inches. He gained 5 pounds in a year and grew 6 inches! He's as tall as a 5 year old! I hope he keeps growing at this pace. We want a tall boy!! He got two shots unfortunately. He needs 4 to go to kindergarten so we decided to get 2 today and 2 at his 5 year check-up. He was not a happy boy. He screamed and cried. He was a little embarrassing!
Cory is 18 lbs 11 oz and 27 3/4 inches long. He is in the 25th percentile for both height and weight. He only gained a little over a pound in three months. Kayden was 19 lbs 10 oz at 9 months and only gained 6 ounces from 9 months to 1 year. So if Cory only gains that much he won't even get to 20 pounds at a year. He apparently just a little guy but doesn't look like it to me! I thought he'd be closer to what Kayden weighed at 9 months. Cory got one shot and screamed and wanted Mommy. So I was holding two screaming kids while Daddy took a picture and laughed! :-) Crazy Daddy! No kids wanted him.
Glad this appt is over! It is no fun going to the Dr with a 4 year old who hates Dr's and a cranky 9 month old!
