"I did it!!!!"

Kayden went to bed at 9 and about 930 he leaves his room yelling "potty potty". So I go upstairs to find him in the bathroom with the potty seat up and his pants already off trying to get his diaper off. So I take it off, realize he's just gone in it and put him on the potty knowing he's probably not going to go. He sits there for a few minutes, looks like he's really concentrating and then yells "I did it!!!!!" He was sooo excited! So I lifted him up and he didn't go. :-( I told him he didn't and he looked pretty disappointed. I got him a new diaper, put his pants on and shipped him off back to bed. It was all pretty funny. I feel bad that he got so excited thinking he went and then there was nothing there. So obviously he doesn't totally get it. But it was cute. Just had to share. :-)
