sickness, new car, and a derby!

It's Sunday morning and instead of being at church I'm at home with Kayden. He threw up last night and has been fine all night and morning so far-acting his normal self, so we're just kind of waiting it out to see if he's really ok. I'm thinking it was just that he didn't have any lunch yesterday and then like shoveled in the food at dinner time. So I'm hoping it was just because of that. No fever or anything. So here's to hoping he's just fine. :-) I hate when my kids get sick. I get so worried and stressed out. I was having problems breathing last night because I was so stressed!
We got a new car yesterday. Our income tax return was WAY more than we ever would have expected so we can pay off the cobalt as soon as we get it and we traded in the Neon for 1000 dollars and were even able to put down a down payment. So now we'll be paying less than we were a month! So excited! I love the car too. It's a 2009 Kia Rondo! It's gorgeous! Kids have a ton of room in the back and I don't feel clausterphobic (spelling?)in it at all. I was having major issues with that in the other cars. It's a wonderful car! It has a hatch back too which I love! and some excellent trunk storage! Oh and just under 40000 miles. We were looking for something with less than 50 thousand so this was great! Did I mention that I was excited???? And Jon got his work bonus on Friday so we were able to pay off our credit card as well. It was such a good day yesterday till my son threw up all over me!!! That was gross!!!
We went to the Awana derby at Jon's parents church yesterday. We made Kayden a Mickey Car. It didn't go very fast but won second place for design! How cool is that? He could care less but the rest of us were psyched! I have a ton more to write about my trip to my parents and I have a lot of funny Kayden moments.....have to get ready now to go up to the church for a youth group event. So I'll write about it all later! I have it all written down so I won't forget!!!
