Hi All! I just finished spending a good hour probably on changing the look of my blog. My mother-in-law showed me someone's blog that was all pretty and different from most blogs so I took a peek and discovered where to find out how to do it. I'm not too smart when it comes to computer stuff so being that I was actually able to accomplish this is quite something. It did however take much longer than it should have!
Today Kayden had a doctor's appt. to check his lungs after all of his breathing treatments and he was fine :-) She wants us to continue to do breathing treatments until spring but I don't think I will. I know it sounds bad to not listen to doctor's orders but being that they can't prove asthma yet, I'd feel better not giving my son medicine that he might not actually need, especially since he's not even coughing anymore. So, if he does start the coughing again, then I will just start it up again and it will make it go away again just like it did this time. I explained all of this to my mom and had to get her to tell me it was ok before I decided it was ok. I trust my mom's advice about everything and feel much better when she's agrees with me. She's never been wrong, so.......
Kayden also came down with a rash last night on his back, belly, arms, hands, legs, and face. He had a similiar occurance in July and it was nothing. Doctor said it's just a virus of some sort and it will go away on its own. It doesn't seem to bother Kayden at all so that's good. I just can't go to the ymca until it goes away because I don't think other mom's would appreciate me infecting their kids even if it doesn't bother the kids. I have to wait until it's not noticeable at least.
I went to a Pampered Chef party last night. My first ever. I've never been to any of those selling parties before. It was interesting. I didn't really enjoy the pampered chef part too much but I did enjoying talking to other mom's. And I enjoyed ordering from the catalog! Mom-you have a gift coming your way! :-) I don't remember when it will be here though.
I have been pretty happy lately. I have a lot going on in the next couple of months to look forward to. In March we are going to my parents to see the Harlem Globe Trotters with my Dad. I hope that Kayden enjoys himself! Then my mom, Kayden and I are going to West Virginia to see my niece. That should be a good time. Kayden will have lots of fun playing with the kids. Then in April Jon and our friend Rob are going to New York City to see the Yankees and Cubbies play at the new stadium and I'm staying back and spending some time with my parents. Then in May is Rob and Kate's wedding in Mankato, MN. We're taking a bus from here to there! I think it will be a long trip but lots of fun too! We'll have to be creative! I'm very excited for all of these out of the normal things. It's gets a little depressing when it's the same old thing over and over again. It's fun to have stuff to look forward to. Well it's time to go and prepare something to eat for dinner. I think we'll just have hot dogs. Jon doesn't eat dinner on Tuesday's because he gets home at 6:45 and gets changed to go to basketball up at our church. He doesn't get home till 8:45 and then he thinks it's too late to eat, so he doesn't. So it's just Kayden and I for dinner tonight. So hot dogs it is....actually they are turkey dogs. I like them much better and they are better for you. :-) Bye!
